Product Analysis

Step 1 - Getting Started
The first thing is to be familiar with the product.
It is important to consider the ergonomics and
              any marketing issues.

Step 2 - System and Components
There are only 2 types of products
              - those that have only one component
              - those that have more than one component

We usually need to ‘pull the product apart’ and
              think about each product.

Step 3 - Design Questions
Think of question regarding your designs.
Use the questions as a guide to sketch up
a draft for the design specification.

Step 4 - Choosing the right materials
One way of selecting the best materials
would be to look up the value for the
              important properties.

Write down all the material properties then
              choose the right material.

Step 5 - Choosing the right process
You can reverse a process or rearrange
it so that it will be suitable.
